These disciplines work together to help our clients meet their goals. Shirley Ryan AbilityLab's Adaptive Sports and Fitness Program and Clinical Therapeutic Recreation Program routinely collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and other professionals within the hospital, as part of a comprehensive system of care aimed at enhancing a person’s quality of life.

Our 2019 group of summer interns completed a range of research projects at the intersection of clinical science and engineering.
