Shijun Yan, PhD
About Me
Shijun Yan, Ph.D. is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in Legs and Walking Lab at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern University. Dr. Yan’s research focuses on 1) identifying neuromuscular mechanisms responsible for impaired motor control and learning in children with cerebral palsy, 2) improving walking function and balance in children with cerebral palsy using robotic intervention, and 3) investigating the relationship between visual perception and motor control.
