About Me

Rachel Hitch has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for over 25 years. She has worked with both adult and pediatric populations with stroke, traumatic brain injury and other neurological problems. Her practice has focused on re-entry into the community including return to school, return to employment and, presently, community groups for participants with aphasia . Most recently, Rachel has been involved in research about aphasia treatment at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago’s Center for Aphasia Research.
