About Me
Stacey thrives on helping others regain function and return to a happy and fulfilling life. Her goal is to utilize current best research and practice to maximize the recovery of her patients. She began her career more than 13 years ago, working at Craig Hospital, one of the top rehabilitation hospitals in the country. During that time is when Stacey developed a passion for treating patients with traumatic brain injury, stroke, and spinal cord injury. In 2012, she became board-certified in Neurologic practice and in 2014 obtained a Vestibular Competency specialty from Emory University. Treating patients with vestibular and balance disorders has quickly become one of Stacey's biggest passion areas. Stacey is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Academy of Neurologic Practice Section, and Vestibular Special Interest Group. She has served as Adjunct Faculty in Doctor of Physical Therapy Programs for Regis University, South College, and Baylor University. She also teaches in an Annual Spinal Cord Injury Course for the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab Academy and is an AHA Certified CPR Instructor. It is a truly rewarding gift to work in the outpatient setting at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab, where we see a wide range of patient populations and diagnoses with the ABILITY to change lives every day!
