About Me
Nicole is an ABC Certified and Illinois Licensed Prosthetist and serves as the Associate Director for Prosthetics and Orthotics. Her clinical interests include pediatric prosthetic management, upper-limb prosthetic fittings including Targeted Muscle Reinnervation (TMR), and management of complex prosthetics patients such as those with quadrimembral limb loss.
She has co-authored a series of patient education booklets about below-knee, above-knee and upper-limb amputation. Nicole is a member and has served on the program committee for the Association of Children’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics (ACPOC). She has traveled throughout the United States and internationally to speak at various conferences, including the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA), American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP), Association of Children’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics (ACPOC), American Burn Association (ABA), the Strategic Consortium for Upper-Limb Prosthetic Technologies (SCULPT), and the Targeted Muscle Reinnervation (TMR) conference. She also has experience teaching a course for physicians and therapists at the Northwestern University Prosthetic-Orthotic Center (NUPOC).
