About Me
Julie is a Senior Speech-Language Pathologist and Education Program Manager for the Academy at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab where she develops and manages multiple continuing education courses throughout the year as well as the extensive live and on-demand online webinar program. She has completed certification for the SPEAKOUT® and LOUD Crowd® programs through the Parkinson’s Voice Project® and currently moderates a weekly outpatient community based Parkinson’s group for ongoing maintenance of voice and communication skills. Julie currently co-chairs Shirley Ryan AbilityLab’s Cognitive-Communication Committee as well as an active team member for Shirley Ryan AbilityLab’s Advantage Projects working with affiliate sites worldwide assisting in training the interdisciplinary team on evidence-based practice and treatment with their patients.
