Jaime Herbst, PT, MPT

About Me

Jaime brings over 25 years of experience as a physical therapist to her role as an admission liaison. She has worked at several acute care hospitals in the Chicagoland area as well as on the stroke and brain injury team at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. 

In her current role as an Admission Liaison, Jaime works closely with acute care hospitals, patients and their families to prepare patients for rehabilitation and to facilitate a safe and smooth transition to the next level of care. Her unique work experience gives Jaime the ability to understand, educate and communicate clinical information to both patients and the clinical teams at the acute care hospitals and Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. She has seen how the power of therapy can restore health and improve quality of life. She strongly believes that Shirley Ryan AbilityLab provides patients with the innovative treatments necessary to achieve greater independence and functional ability. She lives in the Chicagoland area with her husband and two children.
