About Me
On behalf of Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, Barry Fleischer creates strategic alliances with healthcare organizations around the world. As a member of the hospital’s Global Advisory Services Group, he provides strategic assessment, care-model and facility design, and clinical operations and training services to organizations nationally and internationally. This program extends Shirley Ryan AbilityLab’s mission, transferring knowledge and sharing best practices globally.
Additionally, from 2010 to 2017, Barry served as a leader in the Project Office overseeing the design and construction of the organization’s $550 million, state-of-the-art research hospital. In this capacity, he was a key resource for programming non-clinical areas, and facilitated coordination between hospital staff and architect leads in advance of the 2017 hospital opening.
Before joining Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in 2002, Barry was a Managing Consultant at a large multi-national consulting firm.
He earned his BA in Economics and Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA, with honors, from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
