Anne Ribordy, RN

About Me

Anne Ribordy joined the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab team in 2011. She is a Registered Nurse with 10 years' experience in the post-acute care setting. She began her nursing career as a floor nurse on the orthopedic unit at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. Anne took a brief break to become an Admission Liaison for a home-health company, and then for a skilled nursing facility, before returning to Shirley Ryan AbilityLab as part of the Admissions Team.

Anne enjoys her role in collaborating with patients’ healthcare providers and families in order to facilitate a smooth transition from acute care to inpatient rehabilitation. She also enjoys building lasting relationships with the case managers and physicians throughout Chicago’s western suburbs.

Anne lives in the Chicagoland area. Her personal accomplishments include completing both the New York and Chicago Marathons in 2013. By meditating daily, Anne maintains her energy and positive attitude.
