TeleHealth appointments are available to patients seeking physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language pathology services or physician consultations through Shirley Ryan AbilityLab Outpatient and DayRehab Programs. In addition, patients can remotely access services to our Pain Management Center, Prosthetics & Orthotics Program, as well as Musculoskeletal Evaluations.
TeleHealth visits are currently available to patients in Illinois and Indiana. Shirley Ryan AbilityLab is actively working to expand these services to additional states.
How should I prepare for my TeleHealth visit?

Come prepared for your virtual visit like you would your in-person appointment. Make sure you are wearing comfortable clothes and have plenty of room to follow through your clinician's recommendations. To trouble shoot any issues with the WebEx Video Conferencing software, follow the tutorials provided here to resolve any issues.
Are TeleHealth visits covered by insurance?

We are actively accepting patients for TeleHealth visits. To book your appointment, call 312.238.1000 or request an appointment online. In order to have a TeleHealth visit, you must be prepared with:
- A web enabled device (smartphone, computer, tablet) with a camera
- WiFi or other internet connection
- Ability to access WebEx video conferencing
