About Me
Kristi Turner, DHS, OTR/L, works as a research therapist at the Center for Bionic Medicine. She specializes in the treatment of upper limb loss/absence, multiple limb loss/absence, and burn injury. Kristi serves as a Shirley Ryan AbilityLab trainer in the area of burn injury to ensure competency of therapists evaluating and treating this population. She has been involved in research, training, and testing with both Targeted Muscle Reinnervation (TMR) and non-TMR patients using conventional and experimental prosthetic components as well as conventional and advanced control schemes.
