Connor Ott, RN
About Me
Connor Ott is a passionate and dedicated nurse in Chicago, specializing in the care of patients with spinal cord injuries, stroke and traumatic brain injuries. He currently serves as the Research Nurse Coordinator for a landmark phase 1b/2a investigational drug study at Shirley Ryan Abilitylab, where he also has experience as a registered nurse in the Brain Innovation Center.
He is set to earn his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Valparaiso University in May of 2028, where he currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He is actively involved in the nursing community serving as a Nurse Leader with Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nursing.
Committed to healthcare advancement, he is working on various research projects. He is co-investigator on the study of blue wavelength light therapy for sleep-wake cycle regulation in traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients as well as nurse coordinator and sub-investigator on a double-blind, placebo-controlled study of NVG-291 for spinal cord injuries.
His clinical expertise, academic achievements and research involvement establish him as a rising figure in nursing and patient care research
