In a recent article for MoneyWeek, a financial magazine based out of the UK, Dr. Arun Jayaraman, PT, PhD, Director of The Max Näder Lab for Rehabilitation Technologies and Outcomes Research, shared his views on how some emerging technologies — including exoskeletons to aid in movement after neurological injury — are transforming healthcare. Exoskeletons “are going through a spurt of development that is roughly as fast as that experienced by smartphones ten years ago,” he said.
