Members of the Max Näder Center for Rehabilitation Technologies and Outcomes Research will join this year's American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Combined Sections Meeting, scheduled to be held virtually from February 1-28, 2021.
Kristen Hohl, PT, DPT, NCS will lead and participate in the session, Did Major Research in the Last Decade Change Practice? Locomotor Training, Gadgets, Intensity, or Everything Works!. Arun Jayaraman, PT, PhD, Director of the Max Näder Center, will join her as a co-speaker, along with Drs. Catherine Eckels Lang, PT, PhD, FAPTA of the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and Susan J. Harkema, PhD of the Kentucky Spinal Cord Injury Research Center.
At the session, attendees will learn about ongoing and future directions of clinical research focused on emerging robotic interventions, stimulation techniques, and various forms of gait training for people with neurological injuries and impairments.
