Normative Database of Oxygen Consumption

The Shirley Ryan Abilitylab Motion Analysis Center (MAC) is conducting a research study to establish a normative database of the oxygen consumed by individuals who are normal that can be used to contrast the performance of patients with walking deficits. The study involves one visit to the MAC for 30 minutes. During the visit the subject will rest for 3 minutes, will walk for 6 minutes and then rest for 6 minutes while the oxygen consumed will be monitored.
