The Center for Bionic Medicine, in collaboration with Dr. Gregory Dumanian of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Northwestern University, is proud to provide the first training video for targeted reinnervation, focused on amputation at the transhumeral (above elbow) level. This video includes an overview of targeted reinnervation and the surgical procedure, including patient selection, technique, and rehabilitation. Targeted Muscle Reinnervation (TMR) surgery is now clinically available at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and other institutions.
