Several of our researchers will be attending the 2017 annual meeting and symposium for the American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists March 1-4 in Chicago.
- Dr. Laura Miller, CP, PhD, will present on the latest prosthetic technologies discussed at last year's First International Symposium on Innovations in Amputation Surgery and Prosthetic Technologies.
- Suzanne B. Finucane, MS, PTA will discuss using the Subject Evaluation of Gait Instability (SEG) to quantify the effect of real-time classification errors when transfemoral amputees ambulate with a powered knee-ankle prosthesis.
- Dr. Levi Hargrove, PhD, will present on robust Inclusion of EMG Signals into the control of lower-limb powered prostheses.
- Kristi Turner, OTR/L will participate in an organized session on "Gaining a Therapist’s Perspective to Address Limb Deficiency."
