About Me
Vivian Roy, MD joined the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in 2018 as an attending physician. She is an assistant professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Her primary clinical interests include spasticity and dystonia management using botulinum toxin injections and baclofen pumps; spinal cord injury; and EMG (electromyography).
Dr. Roy earned her medical degree from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University (Chicago, IL). She subsequently completed her physical medicine & rehabilitation residency and spinal cord Injury fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin (Milwaukee, WI). She believes in a patient-centered approach to treatment, with an emphasis on shared decision making, and the goal of maximizing function and quality of life.
