About Me

John "Ben" Close has been a physical therapist (PT) since 2001 when he graduated from the PT program at Washington University in St. Louis. In his early career, he gained experience working in all of the different healthcare environments with conditions across the rehabilitation spectrum. As his career progressed, he became focused on care in the outpatient setting. Although he remains committed to being a generalist, treating patients with a wide variety of diagnoses & deficits, he has developed clinical interests in chronic pain management & musculoskeletal/orthopedic rehabilitation. He has a strong background in both movement-based and manual-based approaches to rehabilitation, and he strives to develop treatment & exercise programs that are tailored to the specific contributing factors & goals of each individual.
