Jacqueline Chen, PsyD

About Me

Jacqueline Chen, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who conducts neuropsychological evaluations for both outpatient and inpatient units at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. Dr. Chen is passionate about utilizing neuropsychological assessments to help patients and their families understand their cognitive strengths and weaknesses to better inform treatment planning. Additionally, Dr. Chen has training in using evidence-based practices in individual therapy to create a safe space to work collaboratively with patients to reach their goals, address emotional distress or develop new coping skills. Dr. Chen received her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Wheaton College with a specialty in neuropsychology. She completed her residency at the Chicago Consortium and her fellowship at Rush University. Dr. Chen has also had a variety of clinical training experiences, working with all ages throughout the lifespan, as well as working in hospitals, community mental health, rehabilitation, forensic and outpatient clinical settings.
