About Me
Jaclyn Schneider is a dedicated speech-language pathologist (SLP) with a passion for helping individuals regain their communication abilities and improve their quality of life. Born and raised in Illinois, Jaclyn discovered her calling for speech-language pathology and pursued her education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she earned her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Throughout her career, Jaclyn has gained extensive experience working in diverse clinical settings, including pediatric outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities and adult outpatient rehabilitation centers. Her commitment to lifelong learning and professional development has allowed her to specialize in treating individuals recovering from a wide range of communication disorders, including those resulting from brain injuries, strokes and progressive neurogenic disorders, amongst others.
In addition to her clinical work, Jaclyn is certified in the SPEAK OUT! program, a highly effective speech therapy program designed specifically for individuals with Parkinson's disease. She is dedicated to helping individuals with Parkinson's regain and maintain their communication abilities, empowering them to communicate with confidence and clarity.
Jaclyn prides herself in her compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy, always prioritizing the well-being and progress of her clients. She believes in fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where individuals feel empowered to actively participate in their therapy journey.
