Meet Dr. Gadi Revivo
Gadi Revivo, DO, is the Section Chief of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. He is board-certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Pediatric PM&R. Additionally, he holds an academic appointment as Associate Professor in the Department of PM&R at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.
As a practicing pediatric physiatrist for nearly 20 years, Dr. Revivo treats children and young adults across the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab continuum of care — including inpatient, DayRehab (day rehabilitation) and outpatient. Embracing a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to care, he works with a cross-functional team of therapists, nurses and pediatric subspecialists to optimize patients’ functional capacity, with the goal of integrating them into school and community environments.
Dr. Revivo provides expert assessment and treatment for patients in the U.S. and internationally with complex neurologic and orthopedic conditions, including traumatic brain injury and movement disorders such as cerebral palsy. He directs an interdisciplinary chronic pediatric pain program in collaboration with child psychology, and regularly performs inpatient consultations at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and at UChicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital to determine whether patients qualify for outpatient or inpatient therapy treatment.
