About Me
Dr. Sisung is the former Medical Director of the Pediatric and Adolescent Rehabilitation Program at Shirley Ryan Abilitylab (formerly Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago) since 1992.
Dr. Sisung earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He completed his Residency in Pediatrics in 1984 at the University of Michigan Medical School. After three years as a general pediatrician, he undertook further advanced training and completed a residency in 1989 in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he was chief resident, and a pediatric fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 1990.
He is also Assistant Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and PM&R at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
