Adam Burns, PT, DPT, NCS

About Me

Adam graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Kinesiology in 2014, and then Indiana University DPT program in 2017. He went on to complete a one-year neurological residency program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center - Pi Beta Phi Rehabilitation Institute, before moving to Chicago and starting his career with Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in 2018. As a Board Certified Specialist in Neurological Physical Therapy, Adam works with a multitude of neurological conditions, with a particular interest in Parkinson's Disease. Adam was promoted to the Allied Health Supervisor position for the Outpatient program in 2023. In addition to his clinical and administrative role with Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, Adam is an adjunct faculty member for the South College DPT program, an online DPT program based out of Knoxville, TN. Adam always exhibits a high energy and passionate approach to his patient care.
