About Me
Aaron Gilbert, MD, has served in a broad range positions and leadership roles at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, including orthopedics/arthritis, spinal cord injury and subacute rehabilitation. Currently, his primary clinical focus is on musculoskeletal disorders and medical acupuncture. He has a particular interest in performing arts medicine, with focus on the care of instrumentalists and actors. Academically, Dr. Gilbert has a passion for medical education, especially the professional and career development of medical students. He has an active role teaching at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where he is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
