Prior to experiencing issues related to his cervical stenosis, Charles C., who is blind, worked full time, enjoyed spending time with his fiancé and played in a band. When he first came to Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, he was unsure whether he’d be able to return to his beloved pastime of drumming due to impaired sensation and strength in his arms and hands.
