In its February 18 issue, Modern Healthcare magazine honored Joanne C. Smith, MD, president and CEO, as one of the Top 25 Women Leaders.
Modern Healthcare’s biennial list recognizes outstanding female healthcare leaders, “high achievers … developing policy, leading change and guiding healthcare delivery improvement across the country.” Dr. Smith’s fellow honorees include health system executives, the president of the American Medical Association and the administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
