Palliative Rehabilitation: Considerations for the Interdisciplinary Team

Life expectancy is gradually increasing as a result of advances in health care. Subsequently, the number of persons living with chronic degenerative conditions and disease has increased as a result of these advances. This factor has contributed to an increasing need for palliative care. This webinar provides a comprehensive exploration of palliative rehabilitation within the context of palliative care, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration and person-centered approaches to improve patient outcomes. Participants will gain insights into the fundamental principles, assessment strategies and practical application within the inpatient rehabilitation setting.

  4. Identify patients suitable for palliative rehabilitation
  5. Discuss via case analysis the role each rehabilitation provider plays in
    palliative care
