Limb Apraxia: Neuroanatomy, Assessment & Intervention

Description:  This webinar will review typical patient presentations related to Limb Apraxia.  An introduction to related neuroanatomy, functional outcomes, assessment, goal setting and common interventions for both occupational and physical therapy will be discussed.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the differences in various presentation of Limb Apraxia
  • Describe the neuroanatomy related to Limb Apraxia
  • Identify the clinical differences between Aphasia and Apraxia
  • Identify pertinent and relevant factors to consider when developing a plan of care, and goal setting for improved ADL performance
