Description: This on-demand webinar will provide an overview of ethics considerations in the conduct of human subjects’ clinical research. The focus will be on research in a rehabilitation setting. The on-demand webinar will provide an overview of historical misconduct in human subjects research, outline regulatory reforms in research ethics, and explore strategies to promote ethical and socially conscientious research that is grounded in contemporary bioethics principles.
Objectives: Upon completion of this on-demand webinar, participants will be able to:
- Describe unique ethical considerations for human subjects research in the rehabilitation setting
- Summarize contemporary bioethics principles that promote socially-minded clinical research
- Identify strategies that promote ethical conduct in human subjects research
