Best Practices & Strategies to Mitigate Medical Misinformation

WEBINAR DESCRIPTION
Commentators and pundits have expressed considerable concern about medical misinformation as a novel force influencing patients and yet the threat of misinformation has been with us for a long time. What can we learn from historical struggles with false and misleading information about health and medicine? How might we best address misinformation in interactions with patients? In this webinar, we will discuss how we should conceptualize misinformation as a phenomenon and what healthcare professionals can do about it.
